Um that video is UNBELIEVABLE! I think I would watch it every single day just for my own inspiration. That man is incredible. The Essential 55 was one of the first "teacher books" I ever read, and I love that you use it with your kids. I may just have to steal that idea! So glad you guys had such an amazing time. I totally share your enthusiasm and renewed passion for the classroom I too have just returned home from my second National Conference. I’ve read all of their books, listened to the Kings speak, watched the teach and chatted with all of them. My school board has invited Ron Clark to speak to educators in Northern Ontario, Canada and we are slowly implementing the essentiel 55 in our school, even translating them in French. We are 100% convinced that raising the bar while leaving no one behind is the way to go. How lucky you are to call Kim and Hope your friends :). Thanks for the blog. Now I can easily be transported back to that weekend and refuel.
