Politics is really wearing on me right now and I want the election to come and go. I am holding on to hope that at least after the election all of the protests and rioting will end, even though I prefer it all to end way before then.
Never in all my years have I seen so many mean and ugly things said about people. There really needs to be a whole lot more caring and compassion for others.
Otherwise my day has been wonderful and filled with blessings.

I agree about the ugliness in politics. I am in Canada. The disrespect does not stop at the border – especially in Saskatchewan and Alberta.
It is so sad the way some are acting toward other people.
Yes – especially when family members treat other family members badly because they disapprove of how you lean politically.
It is really mind boggling how some family members and friends turn on you because you are not voting for their choices or not registered with the same party they are.
