When it is sizzling hot outside it is not easy to find a place to chill out and cool off.
My sweet little Chancy Man starts panting by the time he gets down the steps in to the backyard. I feel sorry for him, he so wants to stay out and walk around the yard, but with the awful heat he comes right back inside.
My thoughts and prayers are with all the people who are working outside and all the wildlife. I hope we see some cooler weather soon and this is not a sign that we will have an extremely hot summer.

Your photos are adorable Mags. I don’t usually worry about the heat bothering animals around here, but I sure cringe for them when it is 30 or 40 below.

Our fox squirrels are very interesting to watch. Little characters.
I have never seen one of those.
Fox Squirrels are suppose to be the largest squirrel in Arkansas.
I looked the up on the internet. That is what I found out too. The squirrels at my place are grey squirrels.
My daughter has Gray squirrels in her yard in town . We have Fox squirrels out here in the country.
It amazes me at how wildlife can be so different in places not far apart.

So many elderly people don’t tolerate this k8nd of heat too. Be wary of someone who looks pale and faint.
I am 82 and each summer gets more difficult for me.

It is very hot is the US at the moment. We are on the opposite side of the world and its cold here at the moment so your critters would love it 🙂
